This is my mother Helen whom was
diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2003.
She was 90 years young on
September 24, 2008.

To my sorrow she lost her battle with
the disease and was taken from me on
November 14, 2008.

Cheering for Charity is a non profit organization, formulated by a group of former
NFL Cheerleaders and friends who have had their lives disrupted and affected by
the complications of Alzheimer's, for which there are no definitive answers.

Our mission is to promote awareness and to raise funds to support and educate
thousands of families living with the Alzheimers's disease and other dementias as
well as advance research into better treatments and a possible cure.
Still beautiful at 90!
